Douglas  Allen  “ Bugzy “ Banks  -  1947 – 2004

Doug was born and educated in Kingston , he received his  Class “A”  mechanics  licence in the  early 60’s . He also served  2 years in the  Reserves .

Doug was a volunteer fire fighter , as well as a hunter safety instructor. He loved  sports , baseball , pool ,  darts ,  and of course being a  goaltender. He was a goalie  for as long as I can remember.  He played  in  the Goodtimers  and  Kingston Leftovers  Hockey Leagues , when a team needed  a goaltender  Doug  would  fill in anywhere  anytime ..

Doug passed away  very suddenly  on June 25, 2004  while helping his  son .  Doug is survived  by his loving wife  Nancy  and son  Doug  Jr. His  son  Gerry  ( preceased  May 26, 2001 )

Doug  loved life and he is now  living life with his son Gerry to their fullest.                                  Submitted  by Nancy and  Family
